Starbucks Do’s and Don’t Ideas for LCHF

HWC = Heavy Whipping Cream

Hint: when ordering during known busy times, use the Starbucks app. You can preorder so you can skip the line. If you time it right you can just walk in and get it!

Espresso drinks:

2 shots of espresso with steamed hwc

Espresso with 1-2 tbsp of heavy cream

Double Espresso with one pump sugar free vanilla (stress to them sugar free), with 1-2 Tbsp HWC

Breve Latte with HWC

Almond milk latte. It still has 7-10 gms

Americano(espresso with added hot water) with heavy cream

Americano black. Iced or hot.

Americano, splash of HWC, cinnamon powder

Double espresso with a spoon of foam

Latte w/almond milk and one stevia

Cappuccino made with heavy cream with sugar free vanilla.

Coffee Beverages

Nitro Cold brew

Blonde roast / mild roast over ice with HWC

Grande Pike with a splash of HWC

Brew coffee with heavy cream

  • you can ask for extra sugar free vanilla or sugar free hazelnut (one or two pumps depending on what sweetness level you want), this will be an extra

Cold coffee with coconut milk

Cold brew coffee with HWC +/- sugar free flavored syrups

  • note cold brew(seeped coffee grounds over night) is different from iced coffee(coffee made in traditional manner, then iced)
  • cold brew with splash of heavy cream and 1 pump sugar free vanilla

Cafe Misto (half coffee, half steamed milk) - with steamed heavy cream

Tea

Passion tazo tea iced without sweetener

   -you can add a couple of “dehydrated limes” if available in your area

Food:

Moon cheese and cheese/meat tray.

Almonds

Easy Sabotages:

Chia Tea drinks: they can have a “concentrate” that can cause you to have 18gm carbs in a tall drink

Sous-vide egg bites: delicious but 9 carbs.

According to MyFitnessPal:

  • 0.5teaspoons of the vanilla powder has 1-2 carbs. However some google searches say none. Basically verdict is out on this, especially since we can’t find an ingredient list.

Iced latte with heavy cream once. "It was pure heavy cream with a splash of espresso."
